This design is my testimony. It’s not just a design to me. It’s my heart— it’s my cry out to God when I was at the lowest point of my life. I remember specifically the night I read from Psalms 139. I have read this chapter before, but I viewed it differently this time— this was my life now. I got to verse 7-10, which is the heart of this design:

 

7 “Where can I go from your Spirit?

 Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; 

 if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, 

 if I settle on the far side of the sea, 

10 even there your hand will guide me, 

 your right hand will hold me fast.”

 

WHERE, Oh, God, can I go to escape your presence? That was my plead. It’s personal. And, friends, I know how personal it probably is to you, too. When we feel so dark, alone, and isolated, we just want a way out— even a way to escape our Savior, even though we know he is the only way. Even there— in the midst of your pain, in the midst of your brokenness, in the midst of your darkness, Jesus meets you. He meets you where you are. You don’t have to be put together, a certain age or time in life, or do certain things. He just wants YOU. He wants your heart. So, when you wear this merch, not only is it a chance to share the reasoning behind the verse, and the gospel, but it’s a chance to share your testimony, and the faithfulness of God. So, wear it proudly. You are here still for a reason. You’re here to tell your story. 

 

You are so, so loved, and I’m so glad you stayed.
